Of Course My Cousin and I Enjoyed London

Not a minute too soon, Spring has finally arrived, and I could not be more happy about this fact. Because it is always a cold and gloomy time of the year, winter is not a season that I enjoy experiencing. Fortunately, those cold days are gone for now, so they’re aren’t something I have to worry about for the time being. Instead of spending time talking about a season I don’t even like, let’s talk about how I am kicking off Spring.

As the winter season was coming to an end (I literally had a calendar that I was using to count down the days until Spring), my cousin got in touch with me and asked if I would like to go along with her to London. In addition to being a nice surprise, things got even better when I found out the cost of the trip was going to be covered for me. As you probably guessed, I said yes to this offer and was really excited for my trip to begin. When we took off for our trip, our flight went really smoothly.

Once the plane landed and we got off of it, the first thing we did was to get our Wimbledon car rental. Thanks to having a reservation in advance, it couldn’t have been any easier to get our Wimbledon car rental. Once we picked that up, we got to officially kick off our trip. We packed so much into our five days in London, and I made so many memories that will be with me for a long time to come.

Going away at the start of Spring really set things off well for me, and I just feel like I am on a natural high right now!

Planning a Trip is Easy

I don’t know why people complain about planning a trip. Maybe it’s because they simply enjoy hearing themselves complain, but from my personal experience, it could not be easier to plan a trip. If you think I’m exaggerating or being overly optimistic, I can use the experience I have had with planning my latest trip to demonstrate just how easy it is.

In two months, I will be taking a trip to Wimbledon. Although my trip is obviously still awhile away, I decided last week that I wanted to go ahead and get all of my arrangements made for it. This turned out to be a very good idea, because by planning my trip in advance, I was able to save myself a significant amount of money.

The reason that I’m saying it’s so easy to plan a trip is because you can do everything on-line. I started out by booking my flight on-line. Once I did that, I proceeded to book my hotel, which as you probably guessed, was also on-line.

To finish things off, I booked a Wimbledon car rental from right in front of my computer. Once I had confirmation emails for all three of the things I booked, all I needed to worry about was waiting for another two months until I get to officially kick off my trip!

Wimbledon Isn’t Just a Tennis Tournament

It never ceases to amaze me how many people fail to make the connection that Wimbledon is not just a tennis tournament, but also a place. I know that may seem a little ridiculous, but I have talked to plenty of otherwise intelligent people who simply did not realise this for one reason or another.

While the realisation that Wimbledon is actually a place is something that may take certain people awhile to grasp, this is something that I have known since I was a little child. The reason I knew this is because I have several family members who live in Wimbledon, and even though it is an extremely far trip to go see them, I have been making the journey to see them at least once every couple of years, and this is something that I still continue to do to this day.

Even though I would like to see them more often, I am actually glad I have family who live in Wimbledon. I think it is a really great place, and I’m glad that I have a reason to go there at least once every couple of years. If you have never been to Wimbledon before, I highly recommend that you take a trip there someday (regardless of whether you are a tennis fan or not).
