Although I didn’t realize it until the other day, my semester at university is just about to come to an end. It’s funny, because even though I will have already completed four semesters at university once this one comes to an end, it honestly doesn’t seem like I have already been in university for two full years. After this semester is over, I will be heading back home to spend my summer living with my parents in the house I grew up in. A lot of people don’t like going back to live with their parents, but since I know this is just a temporary phase, I’m excited about getting to eat all of the great food my Mom loves to cook. The only thing standing in between me and my time back home is the final examinations that so many people dread.

In spite of the fact that I have several buddies who are absolutely dreading the prospect of taking their final examinations, I have already put in a lot of time studying, so I couldn’t feel any better about my own. Because I am feeling good about my final examinations, I have already planned a little treat for myself this summer. After I get settled into my parent’s place in Wimbledon, I have a Wimbledon car rental reserved for my buddy and I. The reason we are getting a Wimbledon car rental is so we can enjoy taking a road trip for a full week. Since the two of us have both been working hard at university, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate starting the summer than to enjoy the freedom of being on the road for a full week.
